Picturing Pastoral Imagination
Share a photo a day for Lent
Show the world what pastoral imagination
looks like in your life and ministry
How do you picture pastoral imagination? This Lenten season we want to invite you to reflect on your ministry. We believe ministry IS a spiritual practice. And it is also an embodiment of pastoral imagination. And we want to invite you to show your friends, family, church members, and the world what that practice looks like through your eyes. With your camera lens. From your perspective.
Friends, you can let go of adding something to your “Lenten to do list.” Instead, focus your Lenten reflections on how your ministry is a spiritual practice. Simply lift your phone or camera and capture the themes of pastoral imagination. One each day. Or any day in Lent. And to make it easy we have added topics that you will recognize.
Don’t overthink it. Embrace the imperfection of the Lenten journey.
Need inspiration? Explore the topics each morning by reading Eileen Campbell-Reed’s corresponding Pastoral Imagination book chapter. Need a copy? You will find them online. And in our shop. Or spark your imagination by watching a three-minute video on each topic or listening to the related podcast on your commute.
By Easter we think you will be feeling both inspired and encouraged in your ongoing journey of cultivating your pastoral imagination.
Share your photo each day or any day. You can post on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. And please tag Three Minute Ministry Mentor. Then add the hashtag: #pastoralimagination
At the end of each week we will feature some of your pictures on a short video reel. Thank you for helping us show the world the beauty, grace, and power of love in action with your images.
